The 2021 Moomba Max is a premium towboat built for riders seeking big wakes, expansive comfort, and turnkey performance on every outing. At 22′ 6″ long with a 102″ beam, the Max is spacious yet nimble — seating up to 17 people and designed to balance open-air socializing with cutting-edge wakesurf technology. At the heart of its performance is Indmar’s Raptor™ 6.2L V8, delivering strong acceleration with the efficiency and reliability shore-based enthusiasts expect. 

A highlight of the Max is its 4,000 lbs of standard G-Ballast™, which can be split between mid-ship and bow tanks. This ballast empowers riders to customize wave size, length, and steepness for activities ranging from beginner-friendly surfing to advanced wakeboarding. The Flow 2.0 surf system further refines wave shape by repositioning the hull in the water, creating clean lips and long pockets. These systems work seamlessly with AutoWake® auto-leveling technology, which continuously adjusts hull dynamics onboard for a consistent, repeatable wake and a smooth, level ride even as weight shifts. 

Luxury and tech integration are built into the Max’s cockpit. The driver’s helm features Ergonomic controls and a 7-inch touchscreen for navigation, presets, ballast, and AutoWake settings, plus a built-in wireless phone charger. Behind the helm, a Fusion® Bluetooth sound system — complete with amps and Subwoofer — fills the cockpit with rich, high-output audio. Seating is configured for comfort and functionality, with U-shaped bow seating, generous storage, and a flip-down rear bench that converts to a rear-facing lounge seat, perfect for watching water sports action. 

Safety and convenience are more than just features — they’re integrated into the boat’s structure. A sundeck-style walk-through with a built-in step connects the swim platform and cockpit, while sturdy handrails and non-skid GatorStep™ flooring keep footing secure. A full stern boarding platform and freshwater wash-down system make re-boarding and gear cleanup simple. Standard extras like a bimini top, board racks, ballast inspector, glove box, storage cover, and battery charger add to the Max’s versatility. 

When it comes to towing and watersports, the Max is equally ready. It includes wake tabs for fine-tuning the wave face, PerfectPass speed control for consistency, and a wake-optimized hull that balances control and displacement. With a 70-gallon fuel tank and approximately 2,800 lbs of payload capacity, it’s equally capable of a day on the water hitting breaks or just cruising with friends and family.
